One of our premium clients based in Canberra is looking for a highly experienced and committed UX Analyst/Designer. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the company.

Activities:

• Conduct user experience analysis/research including interviews, observations and usability studies, and translate findings into improved experiences.
• Plan and facilitate UX/UI design sprints/workshops.
• Employ user-centred design techniques to develop user interface specifications, including site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups (high and low fidelity), personas, prototypes, and style guides.
• Work with the project business analysts, developers and test analysts to design/re-design user interfaces with a focus on user experience, consistency, performance, and scalability
• Preparation, maintenance and hand-off of design specification and documentation
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the project on UX tools and best practice.

Skill Set

• Demonstrated experience in designing successful interactive websites/applications as a key member of a user experience team.
• Experience in producing screen designs for usability and accessibility, including WCAG2 compliance requirements.
• Experience in developing and producing user interface specifications, including site maps, interaction diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups (high and low fidelity), personas, prototypes, and style guides.
• Experience in front end web/UI development.
• Experience analysing and documenting existing systems and data and understanding new needs.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
