The primary duties of the User Experience Designer / UX Analyst will include but not be limited to:
- Conduct user experience analysis/research including interviews, observations and usability studies, and translate findings into improved experiences.
- Plan and facilitate UX/UI design sprints/workshops.
- Employ user-centred design techniques to develop user interface specifications, including site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups (high and low fidelity), personas, prototypes, and style guides.
- Preparation, maintenance and hand-off of design specification and documentation- provide expert advice and guidance to the project on UX tools and best practice.
To be considered for this User Experience Designer / UX Analyst contract you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in designing successful interactive websites/applications as a key member of a user experience team.
- Experience in producing screen designs for usability and accessibility, including WCAG2 compliance requirements..
- Detailed knowledge of UX design principles and techniques, service design, user-centred design principles, website design best practices, visual trends, and emerging web technologies.
- Experience in front end web/UI development, with a detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other UI development tools.
- Knowledge of web publishing and associated tools.
