My client is a leading digital SaaS vendor at the forefront of the global CX, AI & Robotics industry, looking to further expand its footprint in the Australian and New Zealand market. 

This organisation has an incredible reputation for it's platform and staff and has been voted one of the coolest companies to work for on the planet. They operate across all major industry sectors but continue to experience exceptional results within their key BFSI, Telco & Media, Travel and Aviation/Airline verticals. 
 
As a result of this exceptional growth, they are looking to recruit a number of top performing BDM's to sell to net new as well as growing existing smaller spend customers within the tier and tier 2 Australian and New Zealand based BFSI, Telco & Media, Travel and Aviation/Airline companies. 

As the Account Director, you will be responsible for identifying and closing large, complex software and services led deals - into the multiple of millions of dollars. You will own the high level, strategic business relationship with your assigned customers at all levels, maintaining responsibility for the overall delivery of key digital projects to clients.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • New business and new logo hunting
  • Growing smaller spend existing customers
  • Management of CxO level relationships across multiple business units/functions within your account base - key relationships will be at CMO, CDO, Heads of Digital, Marketing, Innovation and Experience
  • Achievement of set revenue, KPI and non financial targets 
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic account plans
  • Work with locally based presales, customer success and delivery teams
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations
Key skills required: 
  • Extensive track record of sales achievement working as an enterprise Business Development Manager or Account Director within the following verticals: BFSI, Telco & Media or Travel/Transport and Aviation (Airlines) 
  • Working for a globally recognised, disruptive SaaS vendor, e-commerce provider, Big 4 Consulting firm or digital agency   
  • You will be a proven hunter and relationship manager with outstanding presentation and negotiation skills
  • Extremely consultative approach to business development - experience of long sales cycles and multi million dollar deal closure 
  • Experience of operating at CxO level
  • Tertiary qualification or MBA
