Virtus Health is a recognised global healthcare company with a proud Australian heritage. As the market leading Assisted Reproductive Services (“ARS”) provider in Australia and Ireland, and a growing presence in Singapore, Denmark and the UK, patients have access to some of the highest levels of clinical and scientific expertise in fertility treatment and technologies. Virtus Health have experienced substantial growth since their first clinic opening in 2002 brought about by strong branding, innovative management and the development of an international network. As a result they have a strong plan for future expansion and are now looking to appoint a Group Chief of Technology/Information Officer to their Executive team.
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the Group Chief Technology and Information Officer develops organisationally aligned ICT strategies to enable Virtus Health to achieve its strategic and operational goals leading the organisations ICT capability to maximise returns from ICT investments and improve operational effectiveness. This will require you to:
- Responsible for building and executing a vision for technology that brings together new and emerging technologies and Virtus legacy platforms and systems to ensure stability and future success
- Lead planning, ICT governance, stewardship and service provision ensuring timely access to quality health and business information supported by a reliable, robust and integrated ICT platform
- Responsible for identifying current and new technology requirements across the business and developing a road map for the introduction of new technologies
- Take a creative and visionary approach to driving a strategic enterprise – wide IT investment, planning and delivering on the organisations ICT strategy
The successful candidate will be an experienced, dynamic and talented, multi-dimensional CIO-level executive with a proven ICT infrastructure track record within a significant and complex service based organisation. You will be creative with high levels of business acumen, an understanding of the healthcare sector, P&L orientation and a focus on providing world class ICT service outcomes. The ability to lead, plan and manage change supported by outstanding communication, engagement and collaboration skills is essential.
