Our Box Hill office has a great opportunity available for a Graduate Developer to join their Support team! This role is primarily responsible for supporting high availability business applications and highly demanding business requests in a courteous, efficient and effective manner. You will be required to provide an outstanding level of customer service while executing proficient technical support for our clients.
As a Graduate Support Developer you will also be required to:
- Determining and resolving issues with ongoing communication to the relevant teams.
- Technical troubleshooting for issues raised.
- Ensuring the customer is kept informed of progress for problems raised.
- Identifying, recommending and planning business process improvements for services in development and operation to automate repetitive tasks
- Developing relationships that encourage and facilitate new initiatives to support and enhance business systems.
- Receiving phone calls and managing requests from customers
- Escalating problems to third level support where necessary
- Ensuring queries and complaints are dealt with in a courteous, effective and timely manner
- Occasional work outside of business hours to assist with major software deployments or problem resolution.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge and experience in MS SQL and XML
- Excellent initiative and problem solving capability with the ability to multitask.
- Confidence, good relationship skills and be an enthusiastic team player.
- Good skills in personal work organisation and time management
- An ability to work under pressure
- Ability to identify and report ongoing opportunities for service improvement
- Willingness to learn new technology skills to keep pace with the improvements of the testing process.
- Good understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle.
- Professional demeanour and dedication to excellence
- Knowledge and experience with JIRA service desk desirable
