ROLES and RESPONSIBILTIES

• Design and develop interfaces and services for consumption and publishing for the landscape via ESB using IBM Integration Bus.
• Responsible for integrating existing applications, web services, databases, and business process management systems in order to build advanced Enterprise Service Bus solutions
• Design and develop message models.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining IIB message flows that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
• Work within an Agile development environment.
• Ensuring designs comply with specifications working with EA and Solution Architects.
• Transforming requirements into detailed designs
• Supporting existing Interfaces and message flows in both production and non-production environments
• Supporting performance test team in creating and executing performance tests and provide performance reports.
• Preparing and producing releases of integration and software components
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code in ESQL
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Support continuous improvement

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years as an Integration developer using IBM Integration Bus, IBM Websphere Message Broker and MQ Series
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WSDL, XSD, XSLT, REST, SOAP, Decision nodes, File based transaction management nodes.
• Solid understanding of managing  and configuring applications connectivity using ODBC and JDBC.
• Ability to work in both Windows and Unix environments and write and execute scripts as required.
• Demonstrated understanding of IIB Administration fundamentals
• Experience in working with Kafka, MQFTE, ODM or similar business rule engine desirable but not mandatory.
• Understanding of Teradata is desirable
• Understanding of implementing digital certificate-based security is desirable.
• Supporting production incidents outside of normal business working hours.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• Candidate needs to have baseline security clearance.
• Candidate will need to undergo further security checks include but not limited to Employee Suitability Assessment (ESC).
