On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Taking phone calls where you will be logging and resolving issues
  • Monitor phone and email queue
  • Update organisations wiki
  • Start of day checks across a variety of platforms
  • User account creations
  • Backup environment configuration changes
  • Data restore processes
  • Problem troubleshooting (in consultation with senior engineers)
  • Performance tuning (in consultation with senior engineers)
  • Escalate issues which fall outside of KPIs/SLAs.

About you:

This position would best suit a Graduate with some similar work experience (around 6-12 months) or somebody that has 1-2 years’ experience.

  • 6 months - 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with MS Windows 10
  • Experience with MS Office Suite 2010-2016
  • Experience with MS Active Directory & O365
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills 
  • Have a car and driver’s license
  • Flexible to work on a 7am - 6pm rotating roster 
  • A keen interest and understanding in cloud and infrastructure technologies 
  • Attends networking events or has a test environment set up at home (ideal)
  • TAFE Certification Or Information Technology/Computer Science degree (or equivalent)
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Open attitude towards learning, teaching and taking direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude to handle pressure
  • Lives in Brisbane and has unlimited working rights is a MUST
