The Role:

Our client is a leading Australian Healthcare organisation that is looking for a customer service orientated Service Desk Analyst to join their experienced service desk team. This is a part time opportunity based a stone's throw away from the Melbourne CBD - along St Kilda Road.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support over the phone to end users to ensure that they have the best possible experience when seeking technical assistance.

This position will see you being involve and work closely with an enthusiastic and customer focused team to deliver a high standard of support when investigating and resolving incidents. You will have the ability to provide a people-oriented support service, in addition to identifying areas of improvement during the resolution process.

Key Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Service Desk or Help Desk role;
  • Proven experience supporting the following technologies:
    • Windows server 2008 and 2012
    • Active Directory - including Security Administration and Group Policy
    • MS Exchange (Including O365) and DNS/DHCP
    • Windows 7 and 10 rollout and upgrade projects
    • Hardware and application software including, but not limited to, VPN, network printers/copiers, Outlook, network connectivity, and PC hardware repair and upgrades
  • Excellent phone manner and face to face customer service skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills;
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • ITIL Certified
