A leading, global organisation is seeking to engage a Business Analyst to provide scoping and implementation efforts for a pipeline of planned projects. You will ideally have a background in mining, and exposure to data warehousing and data analytics platforms.
This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of an extension, located in Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customer base for project requirements elicitation
- Engage with project stakeholders to produce aligned visualisation of business process
- Translate business requirements into system functionality
- Configure industrial software systems for required projects
- Provide technical support for the improvement and expansion of exisiting and implementation of new systems
- Maintain documentation of reporting solutions, data mapping, data dictionary and reporting standards
- Time sheeting and safety training as necessary
Key Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field
- 5 + years experience in IT with a focus on Industrial technologies
- Previous systems analysis roles on applications projects within the mining and manufacturing arena
- Strong experience with: MMC (Wenco, Modular etc.), CAT Terrain, Asset Health (Wenco Ready Line, PRODUCTLINK), tyre monitoring
- Demonstrated understanding of full solution delivery lifecycle
- Knowledge of: Plant Historian, Plant Loss Accounting, Downtime Accounting, and Manufacturing execution systems (MES) highly desirable
Highly Desirable system knowledge:
- Exposure to Microsoft SQL server, data warehousing, data analytics platforms and/or mine planning (eg. ArcGIS)
- Exposure to PI historian
- Exposure to Ampla
