Hudson has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Continuity Manager. The role is Canberra-based and you will be required to develop a business continuity plan, disaster recovery plan and associated training and testing materials. This includes a Plan and Test Schedule for each release that the program will deliver.
You will develop the resourcing strategy to engage/source the required services and/or resources to implement the BCP solution and carry out the required testing, identify the test capability required to meet the program demand in all the specialised technical disciplines, and ensure the appropriate quality and quantity of skilled people are available. You will deliver test processes, methodologies, disciplines, execution and measurements to ensure the success of the testing.
The role is with one of Hudson’s Government Clients on an inital 3 month contract starting immediately.
To be successful for this role you will:
- Have excellent business continuity management and disaster recovery management experience and capability.
- Have excellent ability to engage with senior executives and elicit information and gain consensus on matters such as recovery objectives and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral including report writing and presentation skills
- Have an ability to develop professional documentation and artefacts.
- Be able to manage a small team.
- Have the ability to manage multiple concurrent testing streams
- Have excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
Relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience with government departments will be highly regarded.
