Who are you?
You are an experienced engineer who would work within our close-knit DevOps team. Using your expertise in AWS, Docker and CI/CD to deliver applications and systems, you will work with different teams across the business and globe to achieve finder's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and assist in scaling our web stack which currently receives 150 million server requests/month
- Help us continue to launch new services using Docker and AWS in production
- Write Terraform and Ansible scripts to create and maintain our infrastructure
- Participate in the development and implementation of elastic capacity plans for multiple AWS regions
- Assist in building and maintaining our continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using automated tools
- Respond to alerts and notifications regarding website operations and stability
- Help us improve performance, speed, reliability, and scalability
- Experience with AWS - eg. ECS/ECR, RDS (Aurora), CloudFront, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, VPC, Route53
- Experience with an automation/configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
- Experience scaling and optimizing Java and PHP applications
Experience scaling Akka, Lagom, Zookeeper, and Kafka highly desirable - Knowledge of Kubernetes beneficial
