My client is an Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting partner and a growing cloud consultancy that is located in Sydney’s CBD. This client delivers and supports cloud based solutions for a variety of their customers across multiple industry sectors.
They are looking for a help-desk engineer to provide level 1 / level 2 support to clients within the cloud space. This will ideally suit someone with a little bit of AWS exposure, looking to get more exposure to AWS & Cloud technologies and to constantly upskill themselves technically.
Responsibilities:
- Work with an established team of support engineers to ensure the servicing some of our largest clients who run entirely in AWS
- Provide 1st and 2nd level incident response, and management to ensure the smooth running of the customer’s cloud platforms and systems.
- Respond to and complete customer requests within SLA via a problem management ticketing system.
- Participate in a 24/7 on call support roster as well as have the flexibility to work out of hours to facilitate production changes
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an IT support role
- A good awareness of cloud technologies and concepts
- Prior exposure and experience in working with AWS
- Experience with Windows administration and troubleshooting
- Good general knowledge of networking and security
- Excellent spoken and written communications
