Your new company
You will be joining a leading organisation in the healthcare industry. Head Office in Port Melbourne with around 70 users and more than 400 users across Australia with more locations on the horizon.

Your new role
You will join a the IT team as a Systems Administrator and will be working alongside the help desk team, another systems administrator and a database / CRM Administrator. You will lend your skills in providing day to day technical support but will largely be there to support the systems and servers, whilst carrying out any project planning and project work required.

Duties include:

  • System administration and maintenance of IT Infrastructure
  • Disaster recovery planning and management
  • Investigate and diagnose network/infrastructure problems
  • Undertake systems and network implementation projects
  • Provide L1/L2/L3 support for Desktops/Laptops and servers
  • VoIP, Phones, Mobiles, Printers, Remote Terminal Server support including LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity


What you'll need to succeed
Some of the key things we are looking for include strong experience Disaster Recovery (Veeam) and storage (including Data Centre) and ideally some familiarity with cloud (Azure, AWS).

Key skills we require include:

  • Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
  • Active Directory and day to day user provisioning and administrative functions
  • DHCP, DNS, SCCM and Group Policy
  • WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, IPSEC, SMTP, SIP and VOIP technologies
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Terminal/Apps
  • Backup using Veeam, Shadow Protect
  • Storage HP SAN, Dell EMC
  • Virtualisation environment using VMWare, Hyper-V
  • Cloud services such as Office 365, Azure, or AWS
  • Microsoft server applications such as SQL, IIS and SharePoint

Beneficial (nice to have skills) include:
  • Dynamics NAV and MSSQL database support experience
  • Writing report skills using SSRS
  • Technical understanding of ERP and POS systems beneficial
  • Industry certifications such as MCSA/MCSE
