In this role you will ensure that best practices in terms of code quality, test and development practices are adhered to, as well as actively contributing towards improving them.

• Review code quality and provide tasks for improvement of the code base.
• Assess deliverable or technical risks and communicate these to the relevant stakeholders.
• Analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of new software features and functionality, using (but not limited to) SQL Server, T-SQL, C#, and JavaScript.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Technical task and business requirements analysis.
• Drive quality software quality both in terms of application architecture and individual library implementations.
• Assist in identifying and managing technical priorities within the team.
• Maintenance and improvement of the products code base.
• Have a willingness to explore technology options to deliver software functionality.
• Have a keen ability to pick up information about the commercial requirements of the application under construction

Technical requirements

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid commercial experience developing web applications using (.NET, C#, Angular 2+, CSS, JavaScript, T-SQL
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration (CI) practices.
• Experiencing designing and developing software applications around a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous programming techniques.
• Experience with MS SQL 2014 or later.
• Current MS Certifications (MCP) would be an advantage.
