The Digital Business Analyst
The Digital Business Analyst will work collaborative with Digital Product Managers, Product Owners and users to create unambiguous requirements in the form of stories and features for developers and testers ensuring business value is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and develop process, business functional requirements to ensure they meet business needs and can be easily translated into architectural and other technical standards.
• Create prototype reporting models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application developer.
• Design prototypes for proof-of-concept, validate functional requirements and demonstrate that the designed product meets the overall business and technical requirements.
• Oversee the day-to-day operational and user support of the product to ensure issues are handled promptly, support manuals up-to-date and to comply with in-house standards and procedures.
• Review issues captured by the technology team and supervise the overall process of trouble shooting, application of fixes and restoring the data and system to normal operational state based on sound root-cause analysis.
• Liaise with professional and technical staff regarding system analysis, definition of requirements, preparation of technical documentation as well as technical planning and management.
• Conducting a variety tasks across the Software Development Lifecycle with a primary focus on requirements, configuration and testing activities.
• Understand and document AS IS and TO BE processes.
• Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Required to carry out complex software documentation tasks, as well as extended periods of technical.

• Work with key stakeholders to identify and define achievable objectives for business needs
• Analysis of existing business environment to identify opportunities
• Compile and present relevant material for the project
• Gathers information for proposed solutions in support of business cases
• Work in an Agile environment

Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst for at least 3 years and comfortable to be autonomous
• Experience in a similar position within a digital services program
• Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels across the business
• Proven history of initiative and drive; personal effectiveness/credibility
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Liaise with the Product Managers, Application Architect, Developers, Business and Project Stakeholders on opportunities for improvements, enhancements and issues arising with the product lines
