About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Supervisor to take their next career step with Australia's leading services contractor rolling out the NBN passive Fibre Network.
Working within the NBN New Developments project team, this role will see you coordinate and direct a team of multi-disciplined trade based personnel in support of project based construction activities, construction time lines and within budgetary constraints.
About you
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will join a friendly, diverse team of high calibre professionals based across New South Wales. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Mentoring team members
- Co ordinating and directing trade based personnel, in support of construction activities
- Monitoring compliance of and delivering construction activities to standards set by the client
- Demonstrating compliance to safety procedures
- Ensuring proactive education and compliance by trades personnel
- Planning and scoping activities to ensure site works are constructed efficiently and to budget
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- People Management and Leadership skills
- Experience in NBN Fibre network, HFC experience
- Ability to work in high traffic, fluid work environment
- Project Management / Frontline Management qualifications desirable
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft suite
- Possess a current state drivers licence
- Willingness to travel and work away from home
