About the Role:

This role encapsulates the core aspects of a Project Manager and leverages the knowledge and expertise of a Clinical Consultant. As a Project Manager, you’ll ensure that software implementations with our clients are successful and that they’re receiving the best possible solutions, functionality and outcomes. If you’re a passionate advocate for the clinical end user, believe in building effective professional and clinical relationships that aim to ensure your clients truly understand the value of our products and can utilise them to their fullest, then this is the role for you!

In this role, you’ll work on state-wide programmes throughout NSW which focus on software implementations, as well as providing clinical leadership and contributing to clinical governance. The role requires leading or managing the project and services provided along with day to day inquiry and issue resolution. You’ll provide guidance and sharing of clinical knowledge and expertise to our internal teams (Services, Product, Sales etc.) along with our customers.  You will also have client engagement, ICT program oversight, sales proposals, statements of work, pricing and costing models, project scheduling and functional product documentation oversight responsibilities.

You'll be a major contributor in providing vision, leadership and design expertise to facilitate the design and delivery of our solutions and deliverables.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you’ll have had:

  • 4–6 years of clinical experience with a clinical qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse, Radiographer etc.)
  • Clinical Information System (CIS) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) project implementation experience either in a Project Management, Business Analysis or Application Specialist role with a vendor or within a healthcare organisation
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Commercial project management experience; budgeting, documentation, resource management, leading team and negotiation skills
  • Experience with clinical system implementation (e.g. CIS/EMR) project documentation; functional solution design documentation, clinical use cases, exception reports, system test/validation scripts
  • A significant amount healthcare industry experience where you can demonstrate a strong understanding of health systems, how processes and patients are served and how solutions are designed to solve health issues and deliver reporting value
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in systems, information technology, software client support, project management and implementation methodologies
