AYAN InfoTech is looking for Network Testing Consultant to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.

Role: Network Testing Consultant
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 6 Months with possible extensions
Experience: 5+ Years

Required Skills & Experience:

• Good experience in writing and reviewing Integration Test Plans and Test Cases based on Test Requirements and Solutions documents
• Hands on experience in usage of Test Equipments and Test Tools like HP Quality Centre, JDSU, Tracespan, Abacus, Schenick, line simulators, noise generators, spectrum analysers, CD Router, Spirent Test Center and IXIA.
• Strong understanding in Access Networks DSLAMs, FTTx technologies (PON, GPON, GEPON & ODN), VDSL etc.
• Identification, Reporting, and escalation of defects to resolution with design / relevant vendor for Defects found during testing.
• Review High Level design documents, prepare and review test MOPs and Configuration guides.
• Good Exposure to L2 & L3 protocols STP, VLANs, PPP, IP, DHCP, 802.1x, QOS, IGMP, IP/MPLS etc.
• Expertise in scripting languages like TCL, PERL for test case automation
• Tertiary qualification required ideally in Engineering and CCNP (Cisco), CCIP, SRS (Alcatel-Lucent) certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong communication, excellent analytical and problem solving skills are required
• Working experience in ALU access products is preferable
• Self-motivated, analytical and driven to overcome challenges.
