Our Client
Our Client is a consultancy who have fantastic relationships with a number of tier 1 vendors.
The role
We are seeking a Storage Engineer for an initial 6 month contract with the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage technologies and procedures, specifically EMC VPLEX, XIO, VMAX, VNX and SAN switching.
- Ability to provision, troubleshoot, manage capacity, analyse performance and execute array upgrades.
- Experience with VMware’s Site Recovery Manager and EMC’s SRM capacity management suite.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware vSphere versions 6.0, 6.5 and vRealize Operations Manager.
- Ability to automate tasks using VMware’s PowerCLI and MS PowerShell.
- Documentation skills in referencing existing and developing new materials where required
- Proven ability in operational handover for projects completed to ensure clear and successful transitions
- Able to manage time and priorities between multiple tasks
