Senior API Developer
Revolution IT is Australia's leading provider of Software Testing and Application Lifecycle Management solutions, including Requirements Management, Software Testing (Quality Assurance) and Business Service Management. We assist organisations by providing the appropriate capabilities, resources, and tools to plan, test and successfully deliver projects on time and on budget.
We are looking for career-minded and capable Senior Java Developers to join the team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing and maintaining applications software. Beyond development, this role requires someone with a strong focus on code development, analysis and debugging.
This role will be working on a long term, business critical project.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience in the design, development and maintenance of Enterprise Grade APIs, Microservices and API Platforms
- Minimum 5 years programming experience within an Agile CI/CD environment with best exposure to best practices in API development management.
- Experience working with Java, Spring/Hibernate, Springboot, Javascript, Node and React
- Expert knowledge in REST+JSON
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience on AWS Cloud platform.
- Able to liaise with and work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and document requirements
- Knowledge of Dev Ops tools like Kubernetes, Cluster, Docker containers, Puppet, Ansible, and RedHat would be well regarded.
- Have a consulting mentality, and the ability to integrate quickly into complex and challenging environments
