The role
Working as part of our Service Delivery team, the Junior Applications Administrator is responsible for the development and ongoing management of the Service Catalogue.
You will work closely with the Datacom Service Delivery team and various other teams to ensure that the Catalogue is up to date and accessible by the client. It is also critical to ensure currency of information in the Catalogue by retiring services no longer available in a timely manner.
Key responsibility:
- Ongoing maintenance of the Service Catalogue Management tool
- Ensuring that all catalogue items listed in the Service Catalogue are accurate reflections of the Service
- Ensuring that Health staff are able to access the catalogue to consume services
- Coordination between Service Catalogue Management and other processes, especially Service Asset and Configuration Management, and Release and Deployment Management
The person
The Service Catalogue is dynamic, so the role will suit someone who is highly effective at managing their time and keeping abreast of changes. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, professional and enthusiastic with a strong attention to detail.
As this role will interact and work with many teams, you will need to have highly developed communication, documentation and relationship management skills. You are representing Datacom in each transaction and these skills are necessary for success.
Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience and be a fast learner. Experienced or qualification in ITIL V3 in addition to previous IT Service Catalogue management experience will be highly regarded.
