The Role & Opportunity:
Our Federal Government client situated in Moonee Ponds is looking for an IT Organisational Change Training Lead to liaise with the client’s learning team, vendors for training content, procedures and governance. Training will be undertaken with the strong support of client’s Learning section. The trainer will be responsible for the:
  • Training needs analysis
  • Training plan, including audiences, channels, timing, key messages (with scheduled deliverables such as learning, coaching, delivery/coordination of training, briefings, and knowledge support for adoption). This will include campaigns for train the trainer, training champions and super-users
  • Instructional design and development/coordination of training materials
  • Coordination/delivery of training as required.
 
Our Ideal Job Seeker:
  • Has extensive experience in delivering large scale change in a large organisation. Experience in government is desirable.
  • Be accountable for individual work tasks including but not limited to design, development, maintenance and delivery of moderately complex to complex learning and development products
  • Be accountable for the development, coordination and delivery of a range of training programs to agency staff to meet training and development requirements to support business outcomes
  • Work independently, manage work priorities and be accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements to deliver team and business outcomes
  • Undertake research and project work in the learning and development environment, evaluating agency and industry best practice, policy and procedures
  • Develop or modify established methods, systems or policies to achieve effective outcomes and set related precedent
  • Apply knowledge and expertise to the development of tailored solutions to support the strategic objectives of the agency and people system
  • Provide professional advice to stakeholders using knowledge and expertise for learning and development products, services and systems to achieve business outcomes
  • Exercise judgement, insight and initiative to determine the appropriate course of action to meet changing client needs, statutory requirements or technological demands
  • Take the initiative to identify and suggest improvements for learning and development processes in accordance with established frameworks to achieve more efficient outcomes
  • Be proactive and respond to change and uncertainty with a positive and flexible approach, and share information with others to assist them to understand and adapt to change
  • Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve business outcomes
  • Communicate, partner and engage with stakeholders to achieved program outcomes, and keep others informed of progress and learning and development issues
  • Share own expertise with others, guide and mentor less experienced employees and work collaboratively to achieve business outcomes
