We are seeking a Team Lead and Solution Designer / Developer to join a technology team that develops and maintains a critical system for the Treasury business in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic DevOps environment.  

You will have varying responsibilities, including leading the design and development of SSIS, SQL and C# solutions to automate and prepare data for the vendor system (QRM), migrating the system to the Cloud, enhancing the system to deliver additional reporting functionality, and participating in our DevOps processes to support the system. 

The role will see you engaging with the business on a daily basis, and expose you to opportunities to enhance your knowledge and understanding of financial markets, products and the bank treasury management function.

Key responsibilities:

• lead technical resources to deliver change to the QRM platform (including migration to AWS), involving both project/scrum management and technical activities, including establishing good practices
• perform hands-on design and artefact creation, development, testing and tuning of the processes that automate the QRM infrastructure build on AWS, prepare data for QRM, and automate QRM processing using Microsoft-based technologies such as SSIS, SQL, C# and PowerShell
• provide estimates, prepare sprint plans, and monitor developer’s tasks to meet committed delivery dates
• participate in and improve DevOps processes to support the system.

We would expect you to bring technical lead experience with a record of leading people to design, implement and support solutions built on similar technologies, and in-depth technical knowledge of C#, PowerShell and the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS).

Additional experience migrating large-scale grid-based systems to the Cloud, working with QRM, and Control-M (or similar scheduling systems) is desirable, as is previous experience with Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity Management and/or ALM projects. Broader Investment Banking / Financial Services experience is also advantageous.
