As part of a global Technology Services and Solutions (TSS) team, we are seeking a Service Delivery Team Lead to support our APAC/Africa region; the role will be a critical client facing role, ensuring we deliver high quality services across the region.
You will have a natural flair for building relationships across all levels, along with a keen interest in mentoring and developing a small team distributed within the APAC region. The role requires the confidence to make decisions and lead by example while ensuring best practice.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Train, coach and mentor Service Delivery technicians and new Service Delivery staff
- Manage all procedures related to the identification, prioritisation and resolution of incidents, including the monitoring, tracking and coordination of Service Delivery functions
- Plan, design, and analyse the region’s service delivery according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of customer service quality and availability
- Develop proactive resolution plans and contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary
- Planning for installation, deployment and configuration new hardware and software including IT procurement tasks
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Post-Secondary education in Information Technology (either certificate or diploma) is a minimum requirement
- Certification in ITIL or demonstrated ITIL knowledge – experience in at least one ITIL implementation.
- Experience managing and mentoring a small IT Support team including working with remote teams
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Extensive experience in the installation, configuration, modification and testing of computer hardware such as workstations, printers and other peripheral equipment.
- Understanding and experience on the following technical areas:
- Computer network, cabling, network file and print services
- Windows 7 and Windows 10 support
- Office365 Support
