We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Delivery Manager with a sound project and operational management capability to support a portfolio of projects across a growing Professional Services capability.

The following mandatory & desirable skills are defined below:
  
Mandatory Skills
  • 2 years + experience Solution/Service Delivery Manager or Project manager
  • Polished professional with strong interpersonal skills, able to interface with Senior Managers and also build long-standing relationships across industries. i.e. BFSI, Government, Wealth Management etc.
  • Ideally you will come from a Technology background with strong SDLC capabilities in Application & Infrastructure projects. i.e. Cloud, DevOps, Quality Assurance
  • Prior experience driving engagement management and team uplift capabilities. i.e. working on strategic & tactical priorities.
  • This role will encompass pre-sales working hand in hand with the sales team to build capabilities across new and existing Clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise, managing concurrent delivery activities 
  • Strong project & pipeline management skills with awareness of managing multiple concurrent initiatives and ability to forward plan.
  • The SDM will act as an interface point between the Client and PS team overseeing and managing key client relationships, working closely with the Solution Architecture team and the Account Management practice.
  • Able to course correct regularly with an agile & face paced environment.
  • Although this is a Senior role, we work on a collapsed team structure driving agile principles, so the ability to be hands on with tasks is critical. i.e. driving RFP/RFI, updating presentation packs, supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Good leadership and people management skills
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Jira, Confluence in particular
  • The ability to work independently, flexibly and with a high degree of initiative
  
Desirable Skills
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst, with ability to apply analytical and problem solving techniques to support team delivery activities.
  • Past experience in pre-sales roles driving RFP’s hands on and delivering the right message to a Client in a succinct and concise manner.
  • Lateral thinker with some previous experience working on strategic initiatives
  • Previous experience mentoring a small / medium sized team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business and/or IT or related area.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
