IT Infrastructure Engineer - 6 month contract - Local Council - ASAP start
Your new company
Based in the South East, this reputable Council Organisation provide a great environment to work in and they are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team.
Your new role
In your new role you will be providing technical administration to customers and external stakeholders on products and services. You will be managing the set-up and delivery of complex deployments, upgrades and changes to the information systems/networks. You will pro-actively identify business and security risks and improve efficiency. You will also develop and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services to reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a solid knowledge of:
- Windows 10, Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL and SCCM
- Backup and restore activities including Veeam and Backup Exec
- Group policy management
- Telephony technologies such as Mitel
- Virtual Infrastructure (VMWare)
- Citrix
- Administration of Cisco switches and routers
- WAN/LAN/Wireless configurations
