Our client is a provider of choice for global wealth management administration and accounting systems specialising in Microsoft Dynamics NAV technology consultancy and development servicing a range of fiduciary.
Due to organic growth within the APAC business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands on Technical Consultant to become an integral member of growing Sydney based team providing technical consulting services to their APAC clients.
Reporting to the Lead Consultant of the Australian business the technical consultant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Configuring, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas
- Creating new and modifying existing customizations as required for the product and/or as requested by clients
- Performing data conversions, debugging system problems, and crafting resolutions
- Product (NavOne) System design support/bug fixes etc
- Product(NavOne designing, changing, developing and enhancements of new & existing modules in collaboration with the product team.
- Development of interfaces into 3rd party applications such as document management systems, banking & investment systems etc
- Working closely with the UK based development team on major system releases to a global client base
- Acting as a technical liaison to client groups for application support
- Data migration mapping, coding and running detailed reports
- Assisting in functional specification of customizations required for Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementations
- Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live end user support
- Working with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Consultants to understand the business and application requirements of the assigned task
- Taking responsibility for delivering development tasks within agreed upon time budgets and timelines
- Delivering code customizations with proper documentation
- Tracking hours worked by assignment on a daily basis
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you will possess experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (2015 +), possess an working understanding of SQL Developer/Administrator, and .NET
You will be flexible in being able to work both in a team or on own your own initiative being able to anticipate and resolve problems. You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator interpreting client business processes and requirements
This is a collaborative atmosphere where a person who is armed with excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands along with exceptional customer service skills will be challenged but will also thrive in the opportunity presented.
It is also vitally important that the successful candidate for this role will be available to travel throughout the APAC region to provide excellent client technical support.
