Your role as Senior Network Engineer:
Guiding clients with their IT needs. Not only supporting them when they call, but directing them to the right solution. Basically you are the IT Manager for the external client. Trust and reliance is built on your ability to respond quickly and get things done.
Work alongside and contribute to a close knit team. A culture built around working together and helping each other while also helping clients.

Details of the role include:
Being the main go to person for a selection of corporate clients that are matched according to your skill level and your fit with those particular clients.
Being part of a team that supports the client, you will also be involved in architecting their technological direction and then implementing the solution. Day to day support is also part of the team ethic.

What you need to have:
An excellent knowledge of hardware, software and cloud related technologies. Experience in a similar role with another MSP.
Exposure to Microsoft Windows Server, Desktop operating systems and associated software like Outlook. You will have at least some knowledge of HyperV, VMware, Exchange server, Storagecraft, Veeam, Cisco, Fortinet and Watchguard devices. In addition you will have experience with Cloud based implementations/ migrations of Office365.
Have worked in a network support role for multiple clients or you may have enjoyed the benefit of working in multiple corporate or vendor environments.
You will be a pro-active career minded professional who enjoys the challenges of optimizing network architecture. You will also appreciate the value of comprehensive network documentation.
The position involves close liaison with clients onsite and via phone, so you will need to be a skilled communicator and be able to demonstrate a high standard of written and spoken grammar skills at interview. Speaking English fluently is essential.
You will be an enthusiastic people person and will be called upon to demonstrate the above skills at interview.
A stable work history plus relevant references will be essential. Be aware that our main office is located in Port Melbourne. You will require a current drivers licence and a vehicle.
