We are a leading Perth based Software Consultancy who currently has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Senior Java Developer to work on an ongoing large scale agile project for a key government client.  

Main responsibilities:

• Design and development of quality software and solutions
• Understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions
• Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test, integration within an Agile methodology environment

Key Requirements:

• Extensive Java/J2EE (Java 8) development experience
• Any previous experience in Elasticsearch development highly desirable 
• Good previous Agile Development experience
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of SOA architecture and of reusability of services;
• Exposure to modern Javascript frameworks, e.g. Angular 2, React, Ionic.
• Demonstrated experience working with UI, services and database (i.e. front and back end).
• Good experience in using web development frameworks
• Experience in developing and building web services (preferably JSON, SOAP, REST)
• Any knowledge of Gradle, Jira, Git, Bamboo, TDD, Jenkins etc, highly regarded but not essential.
• Proven experience in Software Quality assurance and SDLC models, especially Agile & Scrum highly regarded;
