The role will see you work with cutting edge technologies in a creative and passionate team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and testers to ensure quality product enhancements.
- Coordinating with designers, administrators, project managers, and other programmers.
- Performing security, performance, and availability assessments.
- Automate configuration management, release management and related tools maturity and capability within the IT department with the view of aligning tools across applications.
- Ensure appropriate use of build and release tools.
- Ensure the accurate versioning of application source code and builds to support reconciliation efforts.
- Provide support for Developers and QA for build tools.
- Build tools for internal use to support software engineering best practices.
- Have a very strong focus on analysis, solution and technical design activities with high-quality documentation and realistic work estimates as the end deliverable.
- Drive greater automation of build, package and release practices.
- Drive continuous improvement in DevOps & Configuration Management capability ensuring it is always relevant and meets the needs of internal customer groups.
- Define best practices for source control, continuous integration, automated testing and release management.
- Create, evolve and manage highly effective branching strategies supporting engineering best practices and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Continuous Integration, Delivery and DevOps experience - Microsoft Stack
• Extensive Experience with MS Azure Platform and RESTful APIs
• In depth knowledge of C# and .Net Framework, Strong PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in deploying PaaS solutions, APIs and Infrastructure as Code (desirable) to Azure.
• Exposure to Containers - Docker, Kubernetes AKS, ACI is desirable.
• Experience designing, building and deploying scalable applications & APIs
• Automation for build and release management - automate and streamline operations and processes
• Release Management utilising TFS and VSTS mandatory.
• Software development and Configuration management automation
