Companion Software is a bespoke Industry software supplier involved in the Industry for over 35 years. Our solutions have been proven in a range of Australian Wholesale and multi-site retail businesses within the Fuel and Logistics industries.
The role will focus on the Retail services sector within the Petroleum industry.
Due to expansion we are looking for an entry level field service technician to join our growing support/service team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Build, Prepare and Test kit prior to despatch;
- Onsite and remote support;
- Onsite and remote maintenance of stand-alone and multi site operators;
- Installation and commissioning of new and refurbished in store solutions;
- Assisting the sales department in demonstrating our equipment to current and potential customers;
- Rostered On Call after qualifying period;
- Onsite and remote training of client’s users and management.
Our customers are both rural and metropolitan based which you will be required (after training) to attend for support, installation and training as required. The ability to travel is essential.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Driver licence
- Must be IT savvy with both hardware and preferably Retail software;
- Some mechanical experience would be an advantage
- Good customer service relationships
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Work with minimal supervision
- Team player
- Knowledge of the industry is an advantage but not essential.
