The Overview:
Provide operational and technical support to our customers within our Services Business.
- 12 hour shift work
- 4 days per week
- Beneficial is you have azure, vmware or cisco networking
- Initial 3-6 month contracts depending on the candidates needs
- Competitive hourly rate
Experience:
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related IT environment
• Microsoft Server Platforms – Windows Server 2003/2008R2/2012/2016
• Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, TCP/IP
• VMWare ESX 4/5/6
• Strong ability to diagnose server or network alerts, events or issues.
• Knowledge and understanding of Network IP addressing, VLAN/subnet assignment, Network configuration and Routing
protocols.
• Experience managing and maintaining secure, scalable network systems using technology from a variety of vendors.
• Understanding of common information architecture frameworks
• Working to service levels (SLAs)
• Experience with using ITSM case logging systems
• Experience using IT monitoring systems
• Experience operating Backup systems
• Troubleshooting skills and experience
Desirable:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• RHEL/Linux
• Network Technologies
• Desktop Platforms – WinXP/7/8/10
• Microsoft Exchange/Lync/SharePoint
• Solid experience working with SCCM 2007/2012
• Citrix XenServer/XenApp 5/6
• Windows Batch Scripting, PowerShell & VMware vSphere Power CLI
