Project Co-ordinator/ Drafting - Audio Visual
Macrosphere Pty Ltd, is seeking a project co-ordinator, for Audio Visual and Theatrical requirements for our projects centred around school multi-purpose halls and performing arts complexes. We are based in Clontarf, Qld but our work is throughout the state. We are expanding our work force in house for the support for our current installation team and growing number of projects.
We are looking for an experienced Co-ordinator with solid Project experience within a Construction/Electrical/AV/Cabling or Technology industry.
As the lead role on assigned projects, you will be responsible for overseeing overall project delivery success. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, interact with the design team, third party consultants, field technicians and riggers as well the customer.
Projects include corporate and commercial, tertiary education and government projects. It is an advantage that you have formal project management accreditation but not essential.
The position requires excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of general building construction schedules and processes.
Demonstrated knowledge in a drafting software suite is essential.
A solid understanding across Audio, Video, Data, Lighting and Theatrical systems essential.
Interpretation of written specifications to create workshop drawings is required.
Generation of project deliverables for approvals.
Drivers licence required.
Initial period is a 6 month contract with flexible hours with possible extension of this period.
Some requirement for travel and overnight stays are dependent upon project location.
