My client is a fast-growing private organisation that’s working on some very exciting projects, latest technologies, and have a great work environment with opportunities to grow professionally!

As a Senior Web Developer, you will have the opportunity to show-off your skills and talent, and in the near future be given the opportunity to grow and become a Hands-on Development Team Leader!

You will be responsible for the development of customised solutions, built on a GraphCool backend and Javascript/JQuery/Bootstrap frontend. Future projects will utilise React/Redux.

You’ll need to have demonstrated knowledge and experience working with relational databases and use of database abstraction technologies (such as GraphQL / GraphCool).

Full SDLC – you will be responsible for developing and delivering professional code to meet the business requirements, working with minimal direction once a scope has been defined.

Development is done in an agile environment (SCRUM).

Skills Required:

• Tertiary degree in IT or Computer Science/Engineering (or related) and/or relevant commercial experience
• Full Stack Developer with experience in:
  • Javascript (ES6)/JQuery
  • Working knowledge of Git or other version control system
  • HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with relational databases
• Knowledge and use of database abstraction technologies (such as GraphQL / GraphCool).
• Good understanding of development using the Agile methodology
• Passion for adherence to development standards to support clean, well-structured, well-documented code
• Excellent Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent Time Management Skills
• A great attitude and willingness to work both independently and in a team environment

Desirable skills

• Knowledge of the GraphCool backend framework, AWS S3 Buckets, AJAX and PHP is desirable.
