Security Network Engineer
We are seeking a Security Network Engineer with extensive experience working in a Checkpoint environment. The Security Network Engineer is responsible for administering, maintaining and developing Equifax’s high availability Data/Security/Voice Network and Telecommunications infrastructure in order to maximise its benefit to our internal and external customers.

So, what will impress us?
- Experience in supporting a medium to large enterprise Checkpoint environment with VSX
- Must have strong skills in Check Point FW VSX technology, as well as clustering, working with appliances and Open Servers
- Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining F5 LTMs in an enterprise environment
- Experience working with various technologies & protocols (VPN, IPSec, 802.1q, Private connections, QOS, VRRP and routing protocols – EIGRP, VRF, OSPF & BGP)
- Understanding of Security principles, domains, zones, DMZs and customer connections
- Worked BAU in Enterprise environments with experience in Perimeter Security
- A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc
- Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities
- Sound knowledge of routing and switching.
- Good documentation and Visio skills
- Commitment to change management.
- Customer service attitude and focus
- Datacentre Maintenance and provisioning requirements
Desired skills of the Security Network Engineer:
- Worked with Network Management tools
- Exposure with Check Point Endpoint Security, IPS, IA blades
- Implementing SSL and mutual client authentication on F5 LTM
- Experience configuring up iRules & TCL scripting on F5 LTM
