The Company
Robert Half Technology are working alongside a large utilities organization seeking a Big Data Developer to replace a candidate who is vacating the organization.
The Role
The role of Software Engineer will report into the Senior Technology Manager and will serve the function of developing a search and analytics, data processing application.
This is an initial 6 month contract & will start immediately.
Your Profile
This is a Big Data Developer role so it’s imperative that you have worked in a similar capacity and it would be highly advantageous if you have had experience working in the utilities domain.
Skill sets include:
- Experience with Big Data Technologies(Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana)
- Experience with Linux and Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedures.
- Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitude
