Avant Mutual Group is Australia's leading doctors’ mutual. We are an organisation created by doctors, for doctors and support over 76,000 healthcare professionals and students with a range of products and services designed to support our members both professionally and personally.
Following strong demand for our recently launched cloud based practice management system, PracticeHub, we are looking to invest further into this innovative and exciting ecosystem, to further support medical practices to optimise the efficiency of their healthcare practices.
We are seeking a Technical Lead to support the ongoing development, support and maintenance of our new ecosystem which is built on Microsoft cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and will integrate with several internal systems, external services, and 3rd-party applications.
This role will be offered as a permanent, full time position and will be based in our Sydney CBD office.
The key responsibilities include:
- Develop new applications and enhance existing applications;
- Continually improve the integrations between the our bespoke applications and other COTS tools, internal systems, and external systems;
- Lead highly-skilled software developers (both internal and external);
- Provide ongoing application support
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field);
- Extensive previous demonstrated experience designing and developing n-tier web applications;
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing web applications built on Microsoft technology stacks;
- Demonstrated analytical skills, particularly those required to analyse processes, systems, and data;
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and from across the business;
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, quick-changing environment
