The role:
The Automation QA Lead will be responsible for leading the manual and automation QA effort across all initiatives at OES. Working across multiple project teams, this role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of test plans derived from user stories and acceptance criteria. This role will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining our automation testing solution, as well as adding to the automation coverage across all our key systems. Success will mean implementing an automation testing culture at OES as well as increasing our internal competency within this space across our application development team.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight time frames.
About you:
- Experience with integration and functional testing
- Excellent automation skills in Selenium, Watir, Telerik or TestStudio
- Experience working with Cucumber or similar Behaviour Driven Development tools
- An understanding of Salesforce is highly desirable
- An understanding of Learning Management Systems is desirable
- Experience designing, implementing & maintaining automation solutions
- Experience testing in data warehousing solutions is desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in defect management and reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Values driven & team oriented
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
