Product Manager |Permanent Role | Melbourne CBD | SaaS | Java/JEE and AWS
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the product development and evolution. You will be conducting market research; working with the pre-sales team you will identify product specifications, and generate product requirements. You will also work closely with the Project Management team to manage the production timetables, plans for production and deployment.
Duties
- Identify customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
- Work with the presales team and manage the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, including product evolution
- You will be the main source of information for management, presenting them with short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and reports
- Responsible for product specifications, UX/UI, create wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing
- Manage product roadmaps with a vision of the long-term product direction
- Advise both IT and Business in regards to the current and future product functionality
- Work with the project management team to manage and prioritise the product development and deployment and ensure that backlog of features is managed properly and remove bottlenecks in pre - production
Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in managing Java/JEE on Cloud/AWS based products
- MUST have experience in managing products on SaaS platform.
- Experience in managing product pricing models and how these can be applied in different markets.
- Extensive experience in Agile based development methodology
- Previous experience in project management will be advantageous
