About the role
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified Cable Haulers and Pit & Pipe Labourers to join our expanding NBN Team. Must be available for an immediate start.

As a Cable Hauler, your Key Duties will include:
- Mechanical winch hauling and/or hand installations
- Manual excavation to remediate blockages expected during the normal course of business
- Plant maintenance (cleaning)
- Break-out and Reinstatement
- Generate red-lines and as-built construction packs
- Rod, Rope and Prove existing local network
- Collate photo packs
- In-build/internal hauling
- Red-line drawings for usable network and new construction
Successful candidates will have the following Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Civils/Hauling Communications experience in NBN Construction
- Fibre Optic handling experience
- Hand tool experience
- Manual Drivers Licence & reliable vehicle
- Construction Induction Whitecard
- First Aid and/or CPR Accreditation
- Be physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling labouring tasks
- Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Desirable
- Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres Certification
- Traffic Management Accreditation
- NBN Safety Awareness Certification
- MR/HR Drivers Licence
- Telstra Pit and Pipe Accreditation or similar
