Software Engineer

Who are they?
Salt are working with a pioneer in the A.I. space. They have built a suite of products that are used across audio/visual recognition, predictive modelling, and bespoke data visualisation that are being used by the biggest names in APAC. With a management team comprised of ex-Googlers they’re going through massive growth.
What will you be doing?
They use Functional Programming, AWS & Google Clouds, and build products using NLP, Machine Learning and A.I. They have a flexible approach with flat structures, and you’ll work across the entire product suite. They have excellent salaries and benefits, and as they’re growing quickly there’s huge scope for career development whether you’re looking for leadership or technical specialization.
They work in very flat structures so if you enjoy fluid working styles and variety, and an environment that empowers Engineers then you’ll excel here.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Functional Programming: Haskell and/or Scala, and ideally some Python
- Cloud: AWS and Google
- Databases; PostgreSQL, Teradata and Hadoop ideally
- Machine Learning, NLP, or A.I. experience
- Comfortable working in a flexible, dynamic environment
- Able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Computer Science or similar qualification
