Security Architecture –
Infrastructure – Banking and Finance
Our client is looking for a senior people leader and security architect to manage the infrastructure practice. The successful candidate will have the ability to take a “traditional” security architecture practice and turn it from a low level of maturity to a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for securing the banks infrastructure in alignment with frameworks and policies
- Take overall accountability for Infrastructure security architecture teams
- Provide decision transparency to GM
- Act as an escalation, advice, and decision-making point for your platforms
- Perform line management of a team of senior managers
- Act as a role model by consistently displaying leadership behaviour that encourages productive working relationships and a strong performance culture, as well as an open, creative, and innovative approach to architecture
Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in security architecture and 3+ years’ in technical security management role
- Experience with staff mentoring and development of career plan
- Experience with enterprise environments
- Strong technical experience for infrastructure security architecture
- Experience with security consulting and stakeholder management
- Industry certifications e.g. SABSA, CISM, CISSP and SANS
