About the role
Job Description
We are currently looking for a person to join immediately to undertake below responsibilities
- Hold discussions with various customer teams to understand challenges in their existing setup and suggesting solutions for the same using OSS setup
- Participate in design reviews with customer teams and getting required approvals
- Setup CI pipe for automated build and packaging (using GIT/Gerrit/Jenkins)
- Interface specification for the New Measurement Data (Statistical Counters) for S4-SGSN.
- Update the new Counters information in RISE tools.
- Interface review and specification for NetAct to provide support for the new Counters.
- Interface review and specification for the Trace Reports towards NetAct on S4-SGSN
- Interface Specification for NetAct Configurator Manager to provide support for the new/modified MMLs in S4-SGSN
- Handle Design, Performance, Capacity and Redundancy aspects
- Evaluate 3GPP standards compliance/non-compliance at an interface & protocol level. Interaction with 3GPP standard bodies inside NSN.
- Guide the design and maintenance teams in Critical Hardware/Software issues
- Provide support to development & testing teams during the project lifecycle
- Troubleshoot critical problems reported from live networks

Skills and experience
Skill Set
Must have
- Atleast a Bachelor's Qualification in Technical Field (ICT/ Engineering)
- Atleast 7 years of experience in ICT field with very strong focus on Telecommunication Networking
Highly Desirable
- Strong expertise in Nokia Product Portfolio in Assurance Domain (NetAct, NPM, SEM, SURE, Remedy, SQM)
- Strong expertise in wireless protocols likes RANAP, GTP v1&v2, GMM/SM and S3/S4/S16/S6D/Gn interfaces.
- Good understanding of NetAct deployment on VMWare/EMC/HP C7000 based environments
- Expertise in designing DevOps systems for continuous build and integrations
- Good exposure to the functionalities of 3G and LTE network elements like SGSN/MME/SGW/PGW/HSS.
- In-depth knowledge in end to end functionalities of NSN SGSN network element.
- In-depth knowledge using VMWAre VSpehere, EMC Storage, HP C7000 Hardware
- Hands on with DevOps tools – Git/Gerrit, Jenkins (Docker based setup), Jira
Good to have
- Experience with deployments of Nokia's Network Management Systems NPM/NetAct,
- Experience using Nokia's OSS tools/applications
