Our opportunity

A fantastic opportunity exists for a talented Technical Consultant to join Toshiba's rapidly-expanding Managed Services team. As a key member of the team your primary responsibility is to deliver IT Infrastructure design that would meet Toshiba's Sales team requirements through your individual effort, and to consistently meet and exceed Toshiba's internal & external customer expectations.

Our requirements

Your experience in Server, Storage and Networking principles and industry best practice will be essential in further growing our IT sales, NOC service & system integration business at a grass roots level.  You will be working at the frontlines, supported by a talented team of project managers, IT Professionals plus a highly-skilled professional services team.

You will be relied upon you to use your strengths and competencies in IT design, integration and deployment skills to understand how to manage and create an effective solution for the sales team's opportunities.  You will be responsible for evangelising and coaching the current sales team to support you.

Showing and displaying great communication skills and tenacity all the way through the sales process, this role is not for a traditional old-school, office-based worker.  You will eat, sleep, and breathe IT solution design and implementation with your know-how to execute strategy and help drive sales to success.

Skills and experienced required:

• Diploma of IT Systems/Networks an advantage.
• Demonstrated completion of appropriate vendor training. Microsoft, Lenovo, HP, Cisco.
• Min 5 years' experience in similar role essential.
• Should  be currently in a similar role or no more than 2 years out of the industry.
• Must have strong technical document writing skills.
• Proven ability to direct a team of technical people.
• Demonstrated customer facing skills.
• Ability to present concepts of the Solutions to customers and management.
