The role:
They have a current requirement of Project Manager for 6 months contract to handle multiple high profile IT projects (Oil and Gas Industry) which you will be involved in from day one. You will help in shaping the scope of the work and the ultimate business benefits.
In this role you will:
• Work on all aspects of projects’ lifecycle achievement
• Be responsible for production then management of scope, schedule, team, delivery risks & issues, reporting and change etc.
• Determine initial scope, benefits, approach and commencement in conjunction with business SMEs and Sponsors
• Build up relationships with very senior business and technical stakeholders
The successful candidate will have:
• An engaging, collaborative and team orientated approach to work with others
• A track record within large scale IT project delivery
• Knowledge/experience of the supply chain, logistics and ideally an understanding of the Oil & Gas sector
• First class project management skills across all aspects of the role from virtual team management to managing project scope and problem solving
• Prince/PMBOK certifications
