One of Australia's most reputable Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Operations Developer to design, advise and implement end-to-end business processes and suggested work methods that enable high performance development. The successful Operations Developer will be offered an initial contract until June 2019 with the view to extend further at an attractive hourly rate.
The successful Operations Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Analysing and size user requirements
- Designing, advising, implementing standards and ensure adherence to agreed standards and practices
- Produce a testing, devops and continuous improvement strategy
- Providing feedback through automation on build and timings of processes
The successful Operations Developer must have experience in the following;
- Ability to code and script
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
