Our client, Australia's leading bank, has a new opportunity as a Senior Business Analyst working within the PCI DSS Compliance Program. 

You will facilitate workshops with business and IT; work with stakeholders to map out the cardholder environment, including leading discussions, managing group dynamics, and maintaining group focus to work towards accomplishing the stated goal(s) of the session within the context of the project objectives; identify technology components, data flows, possible interfaces, and affected Lines of Business based on high-level process descriptions or scenarios in order to understand the assessment scope for PCI DSS; and take full end-to-end ownership of the CDE mapping activities by collating information and documents and analysing business processes to identify where changes need to be made for PCI DSS compliance.

Core responsibilities will include:

• Business analysis planning and monitoring to determine which activities are necessary in order to identify and define relevant stakeholders, select appropriate techniques and processes to manage requirements and constant assessment of progress.
• Gather, organise and analyse large amounts of information from various sources.
• Effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and project team members remain in agreement on project scope and actual needs as opposed to stated or superficial needs are addressed and adhered to.
• Effectively identify and define business needs and issues to enable the development of a feasible solution scope.
• Assess and document the current state of business to identify and recommend improvements and validity of resulting requirements.
• Complete and/or oversee project work stream deliverables, including quality control/sign off for areas of accountability.
• Determine the effectiveness of proposed solutions, including the identification any associated risks as well risks around not implementing the solution.
• Convert business needs into functional designs and leads business stakeholders towards functional design decisions.

To be successful in securing an interview you will have:

• Minimum two years’ experience leading teams of Business Analysts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive detailed analysis of PCI DSS and manage requirements and other analysis activities from end-to-end for successful project delivery.
• Demonstrable experience in the analysis and design of PCI DSS scope and implementation with a business and process focus.
• Minimum five years’ business analysis or process improvement experience.
• Financial Services Industry Experience.
• Experience working on technology enabled projects.
• Understanding of BABOK® Knowledge Areas.
• Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications.
• Recognised industry certifications.
• Experience in working on business deliverables related to payment systems, EMV, PCI compliance, POS transaction etc.
