Location – Melbourne CBD
Duration – 6 Month Contract
 
Summary:
The project is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to apply experience and market insight to a range of activities, leading to a clearly-defined and approved direction for cloud services.
 
Responsibilities:
Complete a technical assessment of the IT environment
Assess cloud services suitable to the department, informed by the market scan completed prior to the Digital Services business case
Prepare suitable patterns for delivery of IT infrastructure and applications in the Cloud
Prepare the cloud architecture and target state deployment model
Develop clear, concise and achievable transition-in plans for new Cloud services based on the outputs of the above activities
 
Skills and Experience:
Experience in defining cloud transformation roadmap / target state architecture
Strong understanding across cloud and infrastructure components to deliver E2E cloud infrastructure architectures and designs
Experience in creating and deploying business-required functionality through integrated patterns consuming cloud service offerings
Delivering complex Cloud migrations in environments in diverse and complex operating environments
Experience defining and operationalising DevOps lifecycle management for cloud services
Demonstrated experience and skill in developing cost-benefit analysis, technical implementation plans and architectural roadmaps to support business strategy and enable business/process improvement.
