The role:
They have a current requirement of Technical Business Analyst for 6 months contract who will be responsible for representing the business on project teams during scope, requirements definition/ gathering, development, testing and implementation stages of projects.
In this role you will:
• Be translating business requirements to developers and testers
• Develop, document and manage business requirements for assigned projects
• Develop initial data views/draft reports for development by the big data team
• Analyse business problems, evaluate options and provide solutions
• Assist in analysis of current processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Assist with Documentation management using confluence, office and/or MS Team Services
• Effectively build and sustain solid working relationships with a wide range of project stakeholders
• Provide timely and accurate information and reports specific to the performance of projects
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience as a Business Analyst working on Analytics projects
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exposure to Big Data & HDFS projects (highly regarded)
• Experience interfacing with Business and I.T. managers
• Agile project experience
• Experience owning and creating user stories
• Knowledge of SQL and database structures
• Proven experience and track record in the successful implementation of IT projects
• An ability to cope with complexity, ambiguity, change and variety
