My leading global client are looking for a Security Engineer with skills in Cisco ASA and Checkpoint Firewalls. You will be assisting in the day to day delivery of infrastructure support services provided by the Server team, you will be specialising in Security support in particular with Cisco ASA Firewalls and CheckPoint Firewalls.
You will ensure that the client’s infrastructure remains appropriate for its business requirements. You will be responsible for the management, maintenance and support of the environment and that these adhere to best practices from the day to day service delivery using ITIL guidelines. Where necessary, you will work in conjunction with warranty and vendor agreements as part of maintaining services on behalf of the customer.
Essential Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in IT security
- Administration of security devices such as:
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- CheckPoint Firewalls
- Analytical and troubleshoot skills of enterprise level environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Cisco Firepower devices
- Cisco Routing and Switching devices
- Citrix Netscaler devices
- F5 Load Balancers
